Surah Al Anfal Ayat 5-6-7-8 Translation Tafseer

Para 9 - قَالَ الْمَلَاُ

سورة الانفال

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

8.5-6-7-8

كَمَاۤ اَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْۢ بَیْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ۪-وَ اِنَّ فَرِیْقًا مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ لَكٰرِهُوْنَۙ (5) یُجَادِلُوْنَكَ فِی الْحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَیَّنَ كَاَنَّمَا یُسَاقُوْنَ اِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَ هُمْ یَنْظُرُوْنَﭤ(6) وَ اِذْ یَعِدُكُمُ اللّٰهُ اِحْدَى الطَّآىٕفَتَیْنِ اَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَ تَوَدُّوْنَ اَنَّ غَیْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُوْنُ لَكُمْ وَ یُرِیْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ یُّحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهٖ وَ یَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكٰفِرِیْنَۙ (7) لِیُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَ یُبْطِلَ الْبَاطِلَ وَ لَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَۚ (8)

Kanz-ul-Irfan

Just as your Lord brought you forth from your abode with the truth[1] even though a group of Muslims certainly expressed disapproval.[2] They argued with you in the matter of truth after it had become clear as if they were being herded towards death which they were witnessing. Remember when Allah promised you[1] victory over one of the two groups, and you desired that you have the one without armed resistance, and Allah willed that He shows the truth through His words and severs the root of the disbelievers. So that He establishes the truth and abolishes falsehood even if the wrongdoers detest it.

Commentary

This verse informed the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that the authority of the spoils of war being given to him (after being taken from the Muslims) was the truth, just as leaving his home for the Expedition of Badr was the truth despite both elements being burdensome for some Muslims.

The reason behind the discontentment of this group was their inferior number and lack of weaponry against the fully armed Makkan polytheists.
